Set on a hillside with views across the sea and Tenby, it’s a hidden gem in Wales, perfect for couples looking to get married in a relaxed and personal way. Whatever the season, Penally has its own kind of magic. In winter, the log fires crackle and the Courtyard glows under a 12-foot real Christmas tree. In spring and summer, the gardens burst into bloom and the sea breeze drifts through the hotel. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and romantic. --- #### Enquire about an elopement #### Any time of the year Elopements are available any time of the year apart from Christmas Day, Boxing Day, NYE and New Year's Day. --- ### Witnesses & Guests If you’re planning a truly private ceremony, we’re happy to provide witnesses. But if you’d prefer to bring your own, you’re welcome to invite up to **6 people (8 people in total** including the wedding couple). To make it official, you’ll need to book the [Pembrokeshire registrars](https://www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/registration-service) separately. They’ll need to be available on your chosen date, and their fee is additional to our pricing. --- --- **Intimate, Personal and Unique** Ceremonies can take place in our beautiful grounds when the weather is lovely or our private Courtyard. The Courtyard is a truly special space tucked away from the world. After saying “I do,” you’re welcome to enjoy drinks in the garden, the drawing room, or the bar overlooking the coast. Then, enjoy a celebratory dinner or a relaxed afternoon tea in our Rhosyn Restaurant. We can even transform the Courtyard into a candlelit setting for a private dinner, just for two. **A Guide to the Day** After years of hosting beautiful elopements and intimate weddings, we’ve found a few timings that work wonderfully. **Ceremony Only** Hire of the Courtyard for a one-hour ceremony (between 10 am – 4 pm) Use of the hotel and grounds for photos for one hour after the ceremony. Perfect if you’re heading off to celebrate elsewhere afterwards. **Ceremony, Food & Drinks** Some lovely combinations that couples love: 2pm Ceremony | 3pm Afternoon Tea 4pm Ceremony | 4:30pm Drinks | 6pm (or later) Dinner --- #### Romantic & Special We specialise in intimate elopement wedding ceremonies followed by romantic, candle-lit dinners. For elopements, you and your guests can book up to 4 of our bedrooms. --- Please note that we do not host 'wedding venue viewings' for elopements until the date is booked. You're more than welcome to book in for Afternoon Tea or pop by between 10am - 3pm to take a look at the Courtyard. There may not be someone available to show you around, and there may be events taking place, but we will always try and welcome you where and when we can.
