The Pembrokeshire coastline is one of the most dramatically beautiful coastal paths in the world. It stretches across 186 miles of the South Wales coast and is varied in it's never ending beauty and terrain. With over 50 beaches to choose from and many historical islands and castles to explore, it is a fantastic holiday destination for anyone who visits.

The pretty harbour town of Tenby is only a 5 minute drive (or 25 minute walk across Tenby South beach) from Penally Abbey Hotel and is famous for its pastel coloured houses that line the harbour, its sheltered sandy beaches and delicious fish and chips!

Whether you spend the day mooching in the many shops and cafes, tasting some locally brewed beer at Habwr Brewery or enjoy a trip over to the beautiful Caldey island, Tenby has something for everyone.

We've put together various little guides and links to provide you with all you need to know about the very best bits of this beautiful seaside town.

Situated in the Country of Pembrokeshire in the south-west corner of Wales, the ancient township of Tenby has changed little over the centuries, surrounded as it is by the sea on three sides and on the fourth a well preserved Medieval Town Wall.

Regarded by many as the’ jewel in the crown,’ it is one of the most photographed harbour towns in the British Isles.
