Dog Friendly Hotels in Pembrokeshire are the perfect way to explore Tenby

Our Dog Friendly Pembrokeshire Hotel

Are you seeking a high quality hotel where your canine friend is welcome? For the dog owner looking for dog friendly places to stay in Tenby, not to mention Wales as a whole, it can be a tricky prospect to find suitable pet-friendly accommodation. However, at Penally Abbey we believe that guests deserve better. Our beautifully renovated Coach House provides dog-friendly rooms that are no dog's breakfast, but best in show.

As a guest you are welcome to bring your dog into the grounds and the public areas of the building. However we do stipulate a few house rules...

  • Dogs are only permitted in Coach House Rooms as these have direct access to outside.
  • Your dog must NEVER be left alone in rooms and must NEVER be allowed on the furniture or beds.
  • Please bring bedding for your dog(s) and if they are mucky or wet after a walk, please do dry them off so that they are clean before entering any part of the hotel.
  • Dogs must be kept on their on leads at all times. Within the main house, dogs are welcome in the Bar, Sunroom and Drawing Room, but not in the Restaurant. They must be quiet and calm or you will be asked to take them outside.
  • In the gardens we ask that you clear up after your dog.
  • A maximum of one medium sized dog and two very small dogs are allowed per Coach House bedroom.

Finally we ask you to consider our other guests and to keep your dog under control at all times. Should your dog bark or whine incessantly during your stay then sadly we will have to ask you to leave. Guide dogs are welcome and allowed in all areas of the hotel including the Restaurant.
