Luxury Yoga Retreat in Pembrokeshire
Penally Abbey Hotel
Introducing Yoga teacher, Kerry Morgan:
I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as I have the great pleasure of teaching yoga at the wonderful Penally Abbey. We are holding a luxury Yoga Retreat this November. As a yoga teacher and yogini who enjoys both teaching and indulging in the occasional yoga retreat I think the key to a great experience is to spend sometime finding out whether it’s a right fit for you. If you’ve considered coming on this yoga retreat but are a little unsure about what to expect, then I hope this little piece will inspire you as to why this retreat really is the best treat you can give yourself...
How experienced do I need to be to go on a yoga retreat?
One of the most common concerns people have about attending a retreat is “Will I need to be experienced at yoga to come on retreat?” The feeling that you´re not advanced enough, not flexible enough or perhaps not fit enough to go on a yoga retreat, is a common feeling that often prevents people from signing up. The truth is you don´t have to be a yoga expert to come on a yoga retreat with me. As a qualified Sport Scientist I have a depth of knowledge and awareness about the body, how it works and what it can do. So whether you´re new to yoga, or you´d like to deepen your practice I have a wealth of experience to guide you through the fundamental steps of your yoga practice. Furthermore, as the numbers on this retreat will be small, you will experience a more personalised approach which hopefully will allow you the opportunity to be completely centred and re-energised.
A beautiful yoga experience
We will ensure that by taking part in our yoga retreat it will be a beautiful experience and you should always leave feeling inspired and rejuvenated. Whether you’re coming on this retreat to de-stress, work on your yoga practice, learn how to meditate or simply disconnect digitally then this experience is certainly for you. I have carefully selected a range of classes for you to attend, none of which is compulsory because I believe that there’s nothing more invigorating than having the time and space to do just what’s right for you, after all this is your time.
What can I expect from this retreat?
During classes you will find that I teach mindfully, with compassion and always from the heart. My light-hearted approach will help guide you to observe your mind and understand your body in a way that unites the body, mind and soul. Having worked as a Public Health Professional for over 15 years I’m truly passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and I firmly believe that the state of our health is integral to our physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. You will find yourself surrounded by other inspiring and likeminded people who are also committed to developing their yoga practice and general well being.
Fine dining during your retreat
During your stay the cuisine will be an integral part of your experience. Paul the Head Chef at Penally Abbey has carefully designed an amazing menu, which will be delicious, wholesome and freshly prepared. The flavours and variety means you can indulge in clean, local produce that will be beneficial not only for your body but your soul too.
Penally Abbey as a back-drop
The beautifull Penally Abbey is regarded as one of the most enchanting hotels in Pembrokeshire. Bursting with character it is an intoxicating blend of modern elegance and rich history. It provides a feast for the senses, full of enchanting spots to eat, drink and relax. You could even venture outside and meditate in the ruined Norman Abbey (weather depending!) which is situated within the grounds. If you prefer something more vigorous you could even take a walk along the beautiful coastal path onto the glorious South Beach overlooking the mystical and holy Caldey Island.
This retreat will most certainly give you the time and space to connect more deeply with yourself, allowing you to return home to everyday life with a renewed sense of energy and optimism. What greater gift could you give yourself this year?
